PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The conversion of the P1/P2 boys toilet into two nappy change units, including kitchen and washing facilities, and the P1/P2 girls toilet into a gender neutral toilet, at Gylemuir Primary School in Edinburgh. 

The scope of works included: 

Stripping out and disposal of old toilet cubicles & Vanity units and associated WC fixtures and fitments.

» New suspended ceilings.
» New full height cubicles toilet cubicles and IPS systems.
» Hygenic wall panelling

KEY CHALLENGES

It was essential that we completed the works over 3 weeks to coincide with the Easter school holiday to minimise disruption and safeguard PVG.

ADDED VALUE

Regular efficient communication and cooperation with the school staff ensured we met the strict deadline with the facilities fully operational, signed-off, and sparkle cleaned with no defects or snags when the pupils returned for the new school term, with no further inconvenience or disruption to the normal school day.
